Lycodes pacificus
Small pelvic fins (1.5 into eye diameter); large, rounded pectoral fin; cartilaginous ridges under head not prominent; perito neum black; teeth absent on vomer (central bone in roof of mouth) and palatines; body light gray to reddish brown, often with pale vertical bars; dorsal and anal fins edged in black, and a large dark spot on anterior of dorsal fin .
