Body color yellow pink to salmon, fins light; skin transparent; body very deep and laterally compressed; dorsal and anal rays connected to caudal fin slightly; pectoral fin deeply notched with lower rays partially free; gill opening extends down in front of 1-6 pectoral fin rays; pectoral fin rays 31-38.

Occurence: Bering Sea to SE Alaska; Japan

Depth: 55-913 meters    Size: 33 cm
